Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC)
Description This course provides an overview of the current guidelines for vaginal birth after cesarean delivery (VBAC) , including The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) criteria for trial of labor after previous cesarean birth (TOLAC) candidates; contraindications to VBAC; patient counseling regarding TOLAC and VBAC, including informed consent issues; and nursing actions and interventions related to TOLAC and VBAC. Continuing Education Credit This course qualifies for 0.6 contact hours, which can be earned on this course until June 3, 2017.
